heronry. i only captured a fraction of the heron's nests. right in seattle by the ballard locks. i wanted to return for a better shot with a different camera, but couldn't make it before trees leafed out even more.

How cool - the herons' village in Vernon, BC, was demolished recently to make way for condos, midst a huge outcry :( Hopefully these will survive - love your shot V
