i just read today there are 118 parks in the city of Tacoma! this park, Pt. Defiance, covers 702 acres. not all wild, though some old growth still remains.

This is glorious old-growth forest, and your photo gives a great sense of being there in the middle of it. Who could guess this was in an urban park?
