Water splash.

The camera defaults to 1/60 at f4 when the flash is fitted.

Nikon D200 ,Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 AF

I love the colors. To get around the 1/60 sec default flash use manual mode (or Shutter priority, but that will cause the aperture to be wide open, which will make DOF too shallow and focus more difficult). Set shutter speed to 1/250 (Max sync speed) and maybe about f/8 aperture, don't use Auto ISO. The flash will fire as hard as it needs to to get exposure good. If they are a bit too dark open the aperture up a stop or two. For focus take an object like a pencil and hold the tip of it right where the drips land, or just above (Where the splash is), then focus manually on the pencil tip.
