Nearly every hurricane that makes landfall in the US at some point will venture into Michigan and give us some rain and usually a little wind. Hurricane Sandy was no different except that she gave us a bit more wind than normal. On Tuesday, I made my way with a great friend to the Lake Huron Shoreline and after a couple of hours of looking for a good place to see the waves, we located some 8- 10 footers and even a few 12-15 footers... no where near the 20 footers that were predicted, but nonetheless, these were some pretty spectacular waves.
