This is a whitewater kayaker surfing "Hell Hole" on the Ocoee River in Tennessee. After I finished kayaking the river, I thought this would be a great photo opportunity for the April Theme so I headed back up to the rapid. I took a number of photos at a faster shutter speed, but the results didn't do justice to the speed, strength and chaos of the water. So, I dialed down and this is the result. The only tweaking I did to the photo was a touch of Levels and a small bit of sharpening.
