1. Cropped out the sky as it contained no detail and was competing for attention with the main elements of the photo. 2. Cropped in a long horizontal as the placement of the bovines plus the run of the ravine complimented each other and draws the eye into a scan from right to left. 3. Touched-up the image in PSCS with a bit of levels, added some contrast as it was a grey day, and boosted the saturation a bit. The image was a very small file to begin with so the quality suffered with the enhancements, the re-save in JPEG, plus what Pbase does once uploaded.
