According to Cal Berkeley researchers, Toms in the same family cooperate in breeding display to get the dominant one a date. They believe it to be Darwinian, in that the dominant reproducing grows the population. This shot seems to bear that out. Unfortunately for the Toms, the hens didn't seem impressed.
