The Bank of Abbeville is located on the eastern side of Madgalen Square in downtown Abbeville Louisiana. It was established in 1894, and is the oldest locally owned bank in Vermilion Parish.

Fire destroyed the original building on this site in 1903. It was rebuilt, the architect being the same that designed St Mary Magdalen church, created the distinctive twin towers. The Bank of Abbeville still operates it's main office out of this historic structure which is considered one of the centerpieces of downtown Abbeville.

The Bank of Abbeville is located in the Abbeville Historic District.
