The Comma – Polygonia c-album – Robert-le-diable, belongs to the Nymphalidae family.
The male’s wingspan is about 22-24 mm. The female is slightly larger with 25-26mm.
It often frequents wet areas, clearings, edges and abandoned orchards.
This species is found in North Africa, Europe, Turkey, C Asia, N China, Korea and Japan.
