Family Myrmeleontidae - Found over most of Europe.
This insect is similar to a damselfly with dull colours.
Wings spotted dark brown. Short, thick antenna, slightly outcurved.Length: 50-66 mm.
Found at forest edges or sunny tracks with steep banks, sand-pits edges.
Visible from lowland up to 500 metres of elevation.
