BIRDS OF PREY, FROM STEPPES TO MOUNTAINS

Birds of prey are very present in this area.
The steppes are regularly visited by them for food.
Kites, Short-toed Snake-eagles, vultures, Booted Eagles, falcons and others hunt in the morning or in late afternoon.
They can be seen perched on pylons or tall trees, or on cliffs above the rivers.
Sometimes, the Imperial Spanish Eagle soars above the cliffs, high in the sky.
