16 June - just a rose

Such an on/off day today... sunshine, clouds & heavy showers.
Typed out a big rant about how unfair some things are in life & how some people
are never satisfied... but I deleted it all, not worth getting in a stew about it!
I have my girlfriends, my health, my lovely family AND a passion for photography, what
do I have to complain about really?!! :o)
Just a grey wall background for this rose, so I swapped it for black coz that's
the colour I like most today...!!

Tall & that colour it sounds like you have Queen Elizabeth Rose there Nicky...kind of fitting considering your celebrating her official birthday over there !!

well it ain't M&S! It's on a very tall rosebush in my garden!! (perhaps I should sell them to M&S!!!) ;o)

This is not just a rose, this is the rarest Himalayan species, grown organically, drizzled with mountain spring water and hand-picked at dawn .... This is an M&S rose!! LOL

It is just a beautiful shot of a rose Nicky. It is often cathartic to write your feelings down in words and then destroy them, so I am sure you will feel better for having done that today. A glass of wine will help too!
