Anchored Naval Ships

I was interested in this scene when I saw it from the air, 61 years ago. A 2 by 3 print taken in shadow, printed at a drugstore. Finally copied it despite the poor quality and the mere passage of time made it worth the effort to me.

Sony Alpha α7R II

A historic aerial capture.

A lot of power then, time passes, and I saw something very similar years after this shot, in Hawaii's Pearl Harbour, several nuclear subs all tied next to one another, aircraft carriers etc. all together ... and I imagined all the nuclear bombs all in one place ... enough to send shivers down your spine!

It is a captivating composition and I'm glad you saw fit to revisit it.
