Rescue.

Approximately 14 years ago I was in the mountains on a hike and a woman boke her femur. We tried to piggy back her the two miles but we most of us were in our mid 70's and it wasn't going well. I contrived a palanquin with folded hiking sticks through the straps of a backpack and got her out. I'm in the front in the white shirt. One of the women took the picture.

I can't imagine breaking a femur under any conditions, much less carrying someone for two miles. A painful day for all involved but gratifying to see the team effort to transport her to care and safety. Nice hat btw.

An extremely painful break. She was fortunate to have you and your hiking companions come to the rescue.
