After leaving Trinidad, CO

Dan and I woke up to 8-10 inches of snow and 27 degrees temperature. We met few cars on this lonely road. Fortunately the plows are efficient and Dan, living in the Denver area is used to this condition. Still there was some sliding with ditches close by. Dan drove on the wrong side of the road since that was the plowed lane. A little tricky pulling into the snow packed lane when a car approached.
I took a number of shots through the windshield until I got a clear one.

Great shot of these wintery conditions, Neil.

Love this high key capture - SO familiar from our lengthy sojourn in the north !! Praying no one would come from the opposite direction :) V

I was hoping you would post an image of your snow adventure. This really conveys a cold, barren and almost "white out" look. I am glad you and Dan stayed safe and what a memory this should be in the future. Great through the windshield capture Neil. VV

Love this! Of course it's sunny and in the mid 70s here, which makes it easier to enjoy.

Man, what a dramatic shot. Like how everything fades into white. V

It's photos like this that make me a bit more content about living in south Florida. It does look like quite an adventure though!

Wow, I hate to drive in that kind of condition! Nicely captured, Neil...

A beautiful white world but dangerous to drive! Fortunately Dan is used to such circumstances V

Wow. sure looks dangerous! I lived in Denver close to where Dan is from, so he knows how to navigate this. Cool shot. V

hard conditions for driving.I wouldn´t like to be there, maybe because I am not used to it.V.

This came out great Neil. You should add that this was taken through my windshield while I was driving on the wrong side of the road which was the only side plowed for quite a while. ~BV~

Excellent image, especially under these conditions. This is a stark frigid landscape.
