An artist bought the uninhabited church and is using it as a studio and exhibit hall. Furley is almost unknown. It was not listed in the last census. No schools or stores. I walked around on a Saturday and saw no one. The town survives because of a grain elevator that appears to be active.
It is 8 miles North of my home and never heard of it until I read about an art exhibit.
