This photograph was taken by Guillermo Kahlo, Frida's father in 1932. Guillermo Kahlo, a native of Pforzheim, Germany was a professional photographer. He is well know for having photographed the antiquities and famous sights of Mexico during the Diaz regime prior to the 1910 revolution.
