I like them both too, but prefer the b&w version as it unifies the elements of the composition more. "V"

Both images are impressive, though the variety of vegetation colours in the second conveys information about the working of the environment we can see.

Now that I have flipped back and forth about twenty times I think I like this one the best. I love the way the golden color in the middle draws my eyes right into the image. Beautiful! V

I vote color. Much more "information" included with color as opposed to monochrome. Although the colors are muted from a gray day, they are still really lovely and complimentary.

I like them both but if I had to choose just one it would be the colour version for the greater separation of elements throughout. Beautiful image.
