Aftermath

At this point our lungs were burning and we left. Just today I read an article about how the so called controlled burns resulted in eleven instances of exceeding accepted standards and the state does not crack down on offenders. Money talks.

This followup image with the subdued color (got it right this time) and the smoke rising has a very unique look and mood. The colors are almost like an Andrew Wyeth painting. I am voting again for this. Voted

Nice followup to the images in color. The monochrome gives this a much rawer feeling of desolation. The layers in this image work well as they get further away. Voted

It really does look scorched !! In a lot of places one gets into trouble for putting too much smoke up the chimney and the slash burning in the forests here is something to behold !! Money talks too much :(
