Carved figure

There is a steep, long wooded staircase leading down to the beach. You tend to look at the steps concentrating. When you get to the bottom of the steps and look up there is this life size carving and it never failed to surprise me.

Always in admiration with the simple sculpture in wood.This one with the blue marine is very touching .Another good contact with the salt of the life.Well composed and found

Nicely composed and captured, Neil. This thing creeped me out when I was out trying to photograph at dawn. It doesn't look so menacing here.
