Elk herd

As I was headed down the road to the Shoshone Falls park I noticed what I thought were hoodoos on the cliff above the road. On a second look it was clear they were elk. These male elk are penned in this area and the females are kept on the other side of town. Presumably they have visitation rights during the mating season.
