The difference between a 'snap shot' to a real portrait - candid or posed, is the ability in capturing the very soul of that person. Nearly all your portraits have an intensity that captures my attention and makes me come back again and again.
Some shadows and lights on your daughter's face have a pictorial beauty that is nearly too deep to describe by words.
I could speak for hours about every picture of this gallery.
My favourites, if I had to choose some are your daughter's portraits and your self-portraits.
Taking self-portraits is a dangerous and delicate action. We walk on the thin border-line between narcissism and sincerity.
You can stay there in perfect balance and your self-portraits are a precious example of sense of measure, self-irony and intelligence.
