Many locomotives in the VIA Rail inventory have been repainted to commemorate Special occasions such as the 50th anniversary of CBC/Radio Canada and the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. They are also used to advertise products and contests for Telus,Kool-Aid, Loto Quebec, Budweiser and operations Lifesaver. Thsi particuilar Locomotive is wearing a promotional paint scheme for the Columbia Pictures movie "Spiderman.
