We visited the UK for 15 days in March 2010. Unlike the archaic stereotype of the cool, reserved Brit we might have been tempted to believe, we found the people of England to be warm, friendly, kind, generous and whimsically humorous. We loved the virtually litter and graffiti-free landscape and were impressed with the clean, well kept and supplied public conveniences available in both large and small towns. We were charmed and look forward to visiting other areas of the UK in the future.
