I was taking it so personally, all this rain
An inch and a half today
Some of it in massive outpourings
That part was ecstasy
The rest seemed dreary
And a bother
How ya gonna get a good photo of the day
Outside the rain is windblown into the lens
Lazily I just aimed out the window across the porch
Across the yard, to the rhodies with droplets hanging from them

When I got home and saw it on the computer
It kinda shook my world a little
In all that big rain,
here is this little bug out there among droplets its size
Busily doing some chore of the day, it seems
Ya don't hear any complainin' from that bug now do ya?

And I didn't even have to work outside.

What a cushy day!
