I'm telling you..had I NOT stumbled across this guy, I would have never seen him/her. Even at this close-up view (105mm Macro lens) it's tough to make out the complete outline of this fish- it blends in so well with the background. I think one thing that underwater digital photography has taught me..and that is to open my eyes..they're there..you just have to look for them- or MORE IMPORTANTLY know where to look. (BTW, this is a face only a mother could love. :)
