Early morning is the best time to photograph this small lake. With the birds singing, ducks with babies along the shore and even an occasional moose coming in for a drink, it can be the most relaxing and beautiful time you will ever enjoy.

The water level will start to drop as the heat of summer kicks in to a point in August when most of the water is gone.
