This pinto stallion is the only surviving son of the powerful stallion we called Shaggy. We found Shaggy dead two years ago, he had been shot by some idiot with a high-powered rifle. (I wonder how many horses are killed as target practice in a place where you might not see another human for days).
Happily, this (now 4-year old) son of Shaggy is showing signs of being as dominant as his sire. He is confident, big and strong, and fun to watch.
