An excellent take on the scene. You have taken a really imaginative view of the table decorations and, IMO, have succeeded very well!
Call me fanciful but the aggressive foreground flower and the alarmed expression on the top centre flower create quite some drama !
However repetition, hmm, OK orange? petals?

Zippy, I think you're probably right next time I'll focus on one of the flowers in the back.

To me the flower in focus takes away from the overall picture. I like the softness.
