Mike, Thanks for your comment-Simply the sun reflecting off of moving water--no special technique beyond depressing the shutter. The image is a scan from a transparency taken with a Konica T3 and a vivitar 70-210 macrozooom.
I like the complex trails made by the light source reflections here (middle-left) - not the linear paths you would expect.
Care to give us more details of how it was done?
