Masque (King Crimson) by Ron LaCroix

Hobart, Tasmania Australia

Seen in a Japanese gift shop on the weekend. The mask was illuminated by an incandecsent lamp from beneath, giving it fierce and eerie 'torch beneath the chin' appearance I remember from my childhood.

Execellent take! It is so realistic that I am really scared!

I remember those flashlight/torch beneath the chin days too. Seems rather tame by todays horror standards, doesn't it.
I like the mask, like the lighting, but to be honest, I really don't care for the background - too IKEA-like for the subject I think. I realize that this was in a shop and not your setup.
Being at work, I can't try out any PSing, but a couple of things I may try at home - desaturate the backgound and add contrast to maybe give it an iron bar look? Or maybe a lot of blur and darkness in the background.
Just my opinion - some may like the modern/ancient contrast in the shot.
In either event, it is a cool subject that you can really have some fun with.
