No not a specific reference. It does feel Surreal to me though. My wife and daughter left me sitting while they shopped in a rural Pennsylvania variety store. Took out my camera and walked around a bit. The state was going to install a sewer line to the few houses there. The pipes were covered and stacked up in piles. The light and sky was very strange. I did a blur in PP here but the rest is as seen. I took some wonderful images of plants growing under the cover with a very weird light and diffusion. My family thought I was nuts when they got back to the car and I was smiling in a self satisfied Cheshire grin. Photographers are a strange lot.

I can see the pipes under the cover, but please explain!
Is it a reference to a Magritte painting? The sky does look painted...
