Any Pot In A Storm - JDU

my house in the suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia

Molly got spooked by a huge clap of thunder, so when my wife opened the kitchen cupboard door, Molly decided it was a good place to seek refuge.

Hey! I didn't even SEE her untill reading the comments. That's a great concept, perfect title. And you folks keep a nice clean kitchen, too.

Good point! When logged in as KM users I am anonymous aren't I? Been doing this for a while. Anyway, if that's all you were after, fair enough. I expect better things from you having seen your other shots John, they last me much longer! Adam Bramley

To the anonymous critiquer. My sole intention was to provide a moment of amusement, so it seems I have succeeded. :^) This may even end up being my only entry this time.

I'm afraid I find this shot dull! Yes, it's framed and the dog takes a moment to notice and then gives a moment of amusement, but the colours are drab and the objects mundane. Sorry!

There's some off-theme framing here as well. While Molly got in there on her own the first time, she came out again before I got my camera, so I encouraged her to get back in for a photo or two. I framed her by making it look like it was all her doing in this shot, with the thunder long gone. ;^) John

A purist view on the theme, without dominating colors, textures or shapes. The only tools in the composition are the frames. For such a picture the blue stuff at the bottom looks like a complicating factor. MCsaba
