A delicate take on the theme. I love the overall zig-zag composition. DoF is good enough not to distract, and yet provides some necessary binding elements for the main subjects.
Good one Cruz !
Thanks for the suggestions. I have made some alterations to the original Picture. The true is that Im not a post processing guy, usually I like to stay with the photo the less touched as possible. In this case I agree that the modified picture results better. When I composed this shot I tried do crop just to get the flowers but my A1 lens isnt a 100 macro and these flowers were really small, not bigger than a finger nail.

I'm going to have to walk the middle ground between John and MCsaba...I don't mind the dead flower on top, but I don't really care for the insect eaten on on the lower branch.
I like the colors of the flowers. I'm more bothered by the busy (albeit blurred) mass of twigs at the top than the cropping - in fact I kind of like the diagonal being created. What might be cool is if you could leave the flowers sharp (as is), the supporting stems semi-sharp (as is) and completely blur or remove the rest of the background.
I like the picture very much, the "blue" really pops from the backround. I would also do a crop like John suggested: remove some from the top and shift a bit to the right. But, I would leave the withered flowers, as there exist not only the healties and youngs in the real life. Nice work! - MCsaba

Nuno, not a bad idea and well captured. I like the simplicity and I'm happy with satisfaction of theme as the blue flowers are clearly the subject, albeit understated because of their small size against the very bland background. However, for this kind of thing to work really well for me, I'd prefer to see whole flowers and no dead ones. It's easy to pick the dead ones off as your title doesn't suggest that they are part of the idea. I'd also like to see a slightly tighter crop at the top and right to put the upper flowers a bit closer to the top right corner to balance the lower left flowers better, although no need for them to be as close to the corner as those lower ones are. I'd say that for this idea to work better (for this challenge), the blue of the flowers should have to be exaggerated. Also the background blur looks too unnatural.igb
