G'day Tandaina. I prefer your maple leaf over this one as this is a bit too indistinct and the lens flare doesn't really help, although I realise it can be very hard to avoid lens flare when shooting into the sun. I also feel that the tips of the flowers at the top and bottom would be better not being truncated in this way. However, I like the overall composition with the more prominent flower right of centre and supported by the more colourful one at the left and slightly behind. The more I look, the more I like it, but its potential is a bit limited. If you had chosen clowers that were a bit more translucent to let more light through, I think the result could have been much more dramtic. Cheers, John
