Thanks for posting the original. I see your point, but I still lean toward the horizontal presentation. It would be quite a boring world if we all held the same opinions. I'm curious to see if anyone else chimes in. Bob

Thanks for the comment. This is a crop of vertical image. I put a horizontal shot of the sam escene to the Originals gallery. I still think that the combination of long cloud "rays" and relatively small area of orange light rays impose vertical composition in this case. Kirill.

Nice colors in the sky. Was this cropped or a vertical shot? Just asking because I wonder if a horizontal treatment (if available) would work better. The clouds end a bit abruptly for me.
