I was able to capture Molly by stealth with the 500mm mirror lens on my 7D.

superb portrait of Molly here John - and with the mirror lens! bow wow

this is in the top three dog portraits i can remember looking at - albeit i'm not an afficianado (sp?) of the genre ;-). definately worthy of a big print. i'd be tempted to pp the background below molly's shnoz out tho. thanx. adrian

Thanks for comments and suggestions. I have recropped in line with Alain's advice. I cropped in closer on the right, but dared not crop out the flowers as my wife didn't want me to hide Molly's beautiful adornment. ;^) I also left a bit more space at the left to give Molly more space to look out into.
