Great shot. I'm really glad you cleaned up the blur. This is so much stringer an image. Marc b

BRacket, the change makes it for me. The vertical trees in the background complement the railing nicely. Good work!

A lot better now, bracket ! - Alain

I agree with the point some made about my background blur, so I uploaded a new version. In the original there was some distracting stuff in the upper right corner which I had made unrecognisable by blurring it. In this version I replaced the background with a similar one from the same shooting. I like it better now, what do you say?

The movement of the railing is really nice.

(I have to admit that once you noticed it, the blur is distracting indeed...)

I agree with that the blurred background is distracting but I think it is more because it is the only color than because it is blurred. I like it better in BW (and yes with less blur in the back still).

Thanks for your comments. The background was very distracting to me before I blurred it. That said, I'm not a big fan of artificial blurring, but saw no other way this time. Maybe I'll try a different version with a bit less blur...

Very nice composition. The undulating bridge really ties together the strong vertical lines of the posts and the horizontals of the road. I think Alain is right about the excessive blur - instead of focusing attention on the bridge, it sort of draws my eyes from it. Bob

Great image, bracket. I like the rythm and leading lines. I suspect you to have 'blurred' the upper part. In my opinion, a bit over the top - seems a bit unnatural. Just nitpicking ;-)
