Thought I would have a little fun with the competition, this is our last jar of Vegemite so I suppose when it is gone I will have the photo to look at :-)

Hi Bruce
"Men At Work" great band, glad you enjoyed the song. We met a man in the Caribbean last year he also liked the song, but we have to explain what a few of the words meant and Vegemite was one of them, we actually gave him a jar of it and he loved it.
Cheers

Hi Bracket. I also just looked up the word yeast and yes you are right is does sound terrible, but I suppose we use yeast in bread and don't think anything of it. Really, Vegemite has quite a nice flavour and is especially nice on hot toast :-)
Cheers

Buying bread from a man in brussels /
He was six foot four and full of muscles /
I said, do you speak-a my language? /
He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich . . .

Your pic brought back a fun memory!

Had to look up "yeast" in the dictionary. Yuck! You surely have to grow up with that stuff to like it ;-)
Very funny photo, though.
thanks,

Hi Fred
Well, what can I say about Vegemite - It is one of those things that you have to grow up with and most every Australian child is introduced to Vegemite at an extremely young age, a piece of bread (the crusty bit) spread with Vegemite when they are teething proves to be a great soother - from that moment you are hooked. We carry it around the world with us......I know what you are thinking "STRANGE" lot from downunder.
Cheers

What on earth is Vegemite?...Can't say it look particularly tasty..,and concentrated yeast extract doesn't exactly sound like gourmet food...but hey, what do I know?..lol.
