Thanks Fred - I wasn't sure which was better, but your comment made me look closer. I think what's wrong here is that I clipped the shadows too much. I'll have to try a less severe edit and then maybe switch the shots.

After having looked at them a few times, I actually think this one's better than the version you put in the comp gallery.
