the intent expression on the guy's face is very appealing and makes for a nice, contrasty mono shot.

Thanks John for your comment. I agreed that the top right is disturbing but I am not knowledgeable enough to crop the image the right way :(

Simon, intriguing image. I find myself wanting to see more of the man and his work and perhaps less of the other stuff at the top right. However, the cropping of the man's head and arm/hand/work do tend to balance each other to some extent and in fact help to focus attention more of the man's face than if it had been done a different way. John
