Under Pressure ~ Slartibartfast

Home Park

Just as I was taking this shot the wind changed direction radically, blowing the spray directly towards me. I span round to protect the A2 from the worst of it, but for a few heart-stopping moments after that it refused to focus on anything and I really did think I'd wrecked it! Fortunately it came back.

Controlled energy can still be energy--powerful, surging, frightening, surprising, helpful or hurting, uplifting or stifling, mystifying, or threatening, imposing or welcoming, ... And to think you got the picture and saved the camera too! Well done. - Jean

Impulse (1) the act or an instance of impelling; a push. (Oxford English Dictionary). SB

Nice shot - not sure about 'impulse of energy' as with such fountains they are very controlled.
