thats true its quite dark and yes theres a 3rd horse in the foreground. This was shot in the evening and I only wanted the silhouette of the two horses to appear against the still somewhat bright sky. They are licking each others neck and they way they are standing has some mirror symmetry to it, so I thought the picture fitting to the topic.
