Hi Adrianox,
Good capture. You may have realised that I'm partial to animal pics and I love the intent look of your heron as it balances precariously at the water's edge.
Cheers, John

g'day fred - we were 'posting' at the same time. You expressed waaaay better than i what i liked about this image - t'was fun to conceive. thanx heaps.

thanx both claudio & niahm (sp?) - crop?, this is about 90% original pic, but i've been taking herons since day [a2] one ( i spent 15 min getting this pic - gradually getting closer), but this is the first pic i've taken that shows such tension - which is why i considered submitting here - really, really looks like its concentrating hard ;-)..... and i must admit, a subject like reflections needs some humour.

From Fred

I think he's been reading too much H. C. Andersen fairy tales and the reflexion doesn't match his expectations. Nice humorous shot, adrianox.

I like the tension in this shot... the bird position and the tilted edge makes me feel some kind of "instability". The title forces me to look for the reflection and that pulls me back in the pictures with the leading line. Good shot

LOL! Great title! Is this a crop from a larger image? Reason I ask is I can *never* get close enough to herons to take a shot this good!
