Miss M: Party Girl * by John down under

This is a processed version of the original pic I placed here at the start of the gallery.
Molly is carrying one of the props from 'Reds' in the #3 comp gallery and doing a party trick with a glass of wine. I think she has been into the red wine ;o)
The diagonal framing here is how I happened to compose the shot during Challenge #2. I used PhotoShop Elements 2 to change the first post to B&W and add the wine bottle, bottle neck shadow on coat, glass of wine, glass shadow on tiles, selective colour and nose enhancement. :o)

Hi John,

one more thing that I'm sure you'll enjoy:

I've run into Nick images on a photography magazine and they are all really great with a very unique quirky brand of humur.

D'oh!
And Claudio said to John down under "Let there be shadow from the glass", and there was shadow from the glass. And Claudio saw the shadow, that it was good, and that John down under had divided the shadow from the midtones and highlights. John down under :o)

Hi John,

ROFL!... If you really want to step it up a notch in "suspended disbelief" you have to make the shadow of the glass on the floor. I've had to embed many cgi objects on live action in the past, and that is probably rule #1 (rule #2 is to get the lighting right, but you are doing great there)

Hi Smatty. It was fun to make and continues to be fun to work on. :o) Even if award-winning creativity and technical merit are out of reach, I still have silly in my back pocket! Here, Molly is favouring Penfolds Thomas Hyland Cabernet Sauvignon 2001; gold medal in its class at the 2002 Royal Adelaide Show.
I have a feeling Molly might shortly be gaining a party trick in the pic in the vicinity of her as-yet-unencumbered Rudolphian nose, unless the technical side defeats me or I do not find the time! ;o)
Cheers, John

He, he, he. You make me laugh. That "Now What?" look is great. Is that a bottle of Penfolds? If yes, remind me to stop over in Astralia next time I am on my way to Asia ;-) Cheers...
