Nice comments Jolene.
A lovely image Mike, the reflections in the top part are very strong but the serenity of the figure more than matches it. Also notice the contrast made with the vertical grasses and the horizontal ripples and lily pads.

Hi Mike, Is there a Lady in the Lake I? I certainly hope so since this is such a great photo. There's something about this that really affects me in a strange way. There's a certain dark harshness in the top part of the photo, even though the colors are rich and beautiful. Then the blownout grass punctuates the calm blue water with the fish swimming calmly in it. The lady herself in eternally serene as she gazes out over the water but her shadow is crisscrossed and pierced by the grass. It's really a study in contrast I think-dark and light, smooth and jagged, calm and on-edge. Excellent shot.

Not where one would normally expect to see a statue. Good eye! Love the reflections, too.

Splendid image; the reflection, patterns in the water and colours all add interest. The white [blown?] grasses are a bit distracting. Were you tempted to crop this down a bit?
