While I would have preferred that the one in focus would have been the one with it's back to us for the sake of the theme, this is a nice bird shot none-the-less. I like the composition the most-it's very different than bird shots from the purists. I'm a great fan of arty bird shots, I call them. My definition of that would be a bird shot where the composition is as important as the bird. This is interesting in that the foreground bird has been cropped, rather severely I might add, and the background bird is entirely there, walking on those round things (rocks, eggs?). I also like the swath of green in the back that picks up the colors in the foremost pidgeon. Very good capture.
