Thanks - wanted to try a tracking shot with the A300, so I slowed the shutter down. This boat's coming up an inlet from the ocean to an inland waterway - so he's OK to be going fast as long as other boats aren't coming the other way.
Nice motion blur and, with the boat over to the left, it gives the feeling of leaping forward out of the frame. Swept back rods add to the sense of speed. Should he be going that fast so close to the dock? Nigel
