After starting this project I received some hate mail from die-hard MKI MR2 afficionados (apparently there two) for the fact that I am using a "rare" color combination car for my "alpha" chassis. The green/tan color combination is called "Sherwood Toning", I have since been informed.
(I got the car for $400...so it can't be THAT valuable)
I haven't done any research, but I guess that my car is actually at least 2 Sherwoods. On the left is the decorative trim from the front passenger side and the rest of my car. On the right, is the trim from the driver's quarter panel. Additionally, the wheel arch on that side had a black plastic strip around the outside. I'd wager that in the repair from a front end ding, the previous owner used a replacement panel from a 2nd car. We'll see whan we get that far.
