“The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.” ~Henri Cartier Bresson
I have not felt good today, a sore throat and some head congestion. Yet we had a wonderful day of sunshine so I took a motorcycle ride. Later on I met a friend and noticed several yellow irises along a wooden fence. As I approached the fence I encountered 2 dogs on the opposite side who were quite disturbed with my presence. So, as not to keep them too riled up, I found one iris I liked and made one shot. It is true; a photograph is created in a small moment of time, an instant of give-and-take.
